Energy Policy

Energy Conservation Policy & Measures

Energy-Efficient Design

Air Conditioning: Chillers are set to appropriate chilled water outlet temperatures by season; indoor temperatures are maintained at 26–28°C with automatic timed controls to minimize AC power consumption.

Lighting: Energy-efficient fixtures (consuming half the power of conventional fluorescent lights) are used with zone-controlled switches.

  • ·Eco-certified paper to minimize deforestation impact
  • ·Prioritize energy-labeled equipment in procurement

Rural Grassroots Training Support
Since October 2025, professional coaches are deployed weekly to schools for 3-hour formal training sessions. Venues at Zhubei Bo'ai Elementary School, Hsinchu NYCU Affiliated High School, and other local facilities.

In November 2025, trained children participated in the Hsinchu local league, giving them the opportunity to showcase their skills in an official competition.

In December 2025, AST supported promising young athletes competing in Hsinchu, sponsoring full attendance at weekend programs so financial barriers don't prevent children from chasing their dreams.
